In the run up to the Super Bowl, people seem to love talking about Cincinnati's affinity for Skyline Chili, which got me to thinking, what is Grand Rapids most well known food?

In the Grand Rapids area there were at least eight different Mr. Fables restaurant locations. You didn't have to travel far to get a Mr. Fabulous hamburger.

Mr. Fables is gone, but that doesn't mean you can't make their famed olive burger at home.

Apparently, if you cleaned your plate at Fables back in the day, you got a token to the Fun Machine.

The Filling Station Restaurant, on Alpine in Comstock Park, will be closing soon. When it re-opens it will be branded as a Mr. Burger restaurant.
