Mark your calendar for Friday, November 4th through Saturday, November 12th, 2022. Restaurant Week Grand Rapids is back again for another year and has a few changes.

I always look forward to this time every August. The 11th annual Restaurant Week GR is underway and runs through Sunday, August 16th. The event features over 50 participating restaurants.

This weekend’s schedule includes a lot of opportunities to eat some great food. There is also dancing water, ghosts, baseball, pet adoption, a car cruise, jazz, dance, and even a triathlon! Get out and have some fun this weekend.

It's a weekend of food, festivals, and lots of music. We also have a run and kayaking or a nature hike. There will be sandcastles and a lawn party at the park. The weekend weather looks great. Get out and enjoy one of the few remaining weekends left this summer.

Restaurant Week is one of my favorite times of year. When else can you enjoy awesome dinners at some of Grand Rapids' best restaurants for only $28 per person for a 3-course dinner?

Ok, ok, so APPARENTLY, I'm not very good at this. For Restaurant Week, I decided to go with Fish's wife Alicia to Gravity Taphouse Grille (because I love it!) We had an AWESOME Girl's Lunch - BUT! Part of Restaurant Week that everyone looks forward to is the Grand Cocktail Competition in which area restaurants try to come up with their best cocktails using specific ingredients. This year, restaurants were asked to use Herradura Tequila to make their most creative summer cocktail and their most creative Julep using Woodford Reserve.

Restaurant Week Grand Rapids has moved its dates this year, and has added a brand new element to the two week long celebration of food. While Restaurant Week itself doesn't kick off until August 15th, the new part of the celebration, The Grand Cocktail Contest, kicks off Wednesday, August 1st!
