Looking for part-time or seasonal work before the holidays? Good news, Woodland Mall is hosting a job fair Saturday, Oct. 21st from noon to 6 pm.

And the envelopes please. On Friday night in ceremonies at the Grand Rapids Civic Theatre with a watch party at Rosa Park Circle, ArtPrize 2014 handed out its awards. The big winner was Indianapolis artist Anila Quayyum Agha's Grand Rapids Art Museum installation titled "Intersections."

There are only four more days to vote, and we're not talking the general election. The ArtPrize 2014finalists for public voting and juried honors are in, and the top 20 in four categories on both lists is getting narrowed down through 11:59 p.m. Thursday. Today (Monday, Oct. 6) is the 13th day of ArtPrize's 19-day run, with 1,825 artists represented by 1,536 entries at 174 venues in downtown Grand
