There are butterflies, boats, basketball, and more on the schedule for this weekend. You will also find hockey games, comedy, concerts, a time change, food and more!
Every year about this time I wait to see some signs that spring is around the corner. Things like seeing the first robin, "springing forward" with our clocks, and of course the opening of our local Dairy Queens.
LaughFest officially kicks off this weekend. It is also opening weekend for the John Ball Zoo. We also have the Women’s Expo, KISS, Fish Fries, Hockey, Pirates, and a free day at the Grand Rapids Public Museum. Also, remember to turn your clocks AHEAD one hour this weekend.
We have outdoor and indoor activities this weekend. There is bobsledding, birthday celebrations, animals at the zoo, concerts, a circus, monster trucks and more. And don’t forget to “Spring Forward” with your clocks this weekend.
Get ready to spring forward! Daylight Savings Time is this Sunday, March 13 at 2 a.m., which means we'll get an extra hour of sunshine, yay! But we lose an hour of sleep, awww :(
With the time change, DST can throw you and your day off...
It's time to spring forward and set your clock an hour ahead on Sunday!
I couldn't be more happy with the time change because it means that we're one day closer to warmer weather in West Michigan!
Apparently, there is 'scientific' proof that we're also sexier come Springtime ... seriously!
