Fortunately, the entire incident ended a little after an hour, without anyone getting hurt.

A Grand Rapids man is behind bars this morning after holding police at bay outside his house at 1417 Alpine Avenue NW on Wednesday. At first, police were informed that 41-year old Robert Corbett was holding his girlfriend against her will in the attic of the house.  He later let her go, but refused to surrender himself over to police.

Edit: (2:50pm) Police have cleared an office building  in the 3500 Block of Lake Eastbrook after receiving reports of a possible gunman in the building. Officers searched the East Lake Office Center and say that they didn't find anyone with a gun...
