Throwback of the Day

Ok, I have to admit, I was a Destiny's Child fan back when they were together through the "No, No, No" to the "Soldier" days.  Take my man card if you have to, but in my days of growing up, the ladies would love this stuff... so I felt it would help the love life if I did as well...

Today's "Throwback" takes us back to 1989. "Opposites Attract" by Paula Abdul, featured on her debut album "Forever Your Girl" is awesome because its half cartoon... And mostly awesome for that reason.  Vocals on the song, in addition to Abdul, were provided by Bruce DeShazer and Marv Gunn, aka 'The Wild Pair' who was portrayed by MC Scat Cat in the video...

Nirvana, "Smells Like Teen Spirit?" Yes... PLEASE! My first CD ever, who knew it would have one of the greatest songs on it? Some will say, including myself, that "Smells Like Teen Spirit"  is responsible for alternative rock entering the mainstream in the 90's...
