Of course, "The Hunger Games" was one of the biggest movies of the year. Not only because people have fallen in love with the book series, but also because of the cast, and of course, the soundtrack. Pink's long awaited new album "The Truth About Love" was released in October, and I have been nothing but impressed with it. The debut single "Blow Me (One Last Kiss)" was awesome, but the second single from the album, "Try", is probably my favorite song off of "The Truth About Love", and because of that, it's landed at number 3 on my list of the Top 10 Song

Jason Mraz has been one of my favorite artists for a long time, and I feel like every time he puts out a new album, the feel of the songs, and the theme of the album are completely different. With his latest album, "Love Is A Four Letter Word", Jason gets a little more serious with songs like "I Won't Give Up", and number 4 on my list of the Top 10 Songs of 2012 "93 Millio

I have loved Mumford & Sons ever since I first heard them. Something about their manner of singing, the instruments they play, and the lyrics to their songs moves me in a way that a band hasn't in a long time. And that is why their newest single, "I Will Wait" landed at number 5 on my list of Top 10 Songs of 2012.

Another "indie" band that hit the mainstream radio airwaves this year is Imagine Dragons. This band, formed in 2008, made its way up through the ranks by playing in several battle of the bands competitions before finally being signed to a record label. This year, they released the single "It's Time", and it quickly won me over, earning it the number 6 spot on my list of the Top

One of the bands that popped up on my radar this year was Of Monsters & Men. This Icelandic band quickly became one of my favorite artists of the year. Their debut single, "Little Talks" is catchy, well written, and lands at number 8 on my list of Top 10 Songs of 2012.

In general, I am not a huge Rihanna fan. I mean, her music is fine, but until this year, she didn't put out a song that made me think "man, I really like Rihanna's music". That changed when she released "Diamonds" late this year, and that is why it sits at number 8 on my list of Top 10 Songs of 2012.

You guys are probably starting to think that I'm a huge fan of teenage Canadian pop stars, aren't you? Honestly, I didn't think that I would ever be a fan of the Biebs, but he and his music have grown on me this year. Coming in at number 9 on my list of Top 10 Songs of 2012 is the song that made me decide to give Justin Bieber a chance, "Boyfriend".

I always like to do a bit of a "year in review" towards the end of every year, and this year I thought that in addition to that, I would give a bit of a countdown of my favorite songs from 2012.
