Winter Weather Advisory

We've seen multiple warnings and advisories in West Michigan this week - and the National Weather Service has issued another beginning Saturday evening.

It's been a snowy start to the new year, and more is headed our way.

It looks like West Michigan will get off to a snowy start in 2022.

Snow and high winds are on the way for much of West Michigan throughout most of the day.

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for portions of southwest, central, west central, and south central Michigan 5p.m. Monday, November 29th through 3a.m. Tuesday, November 30th.

National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for portions of southwest, west central, and south central Michigan 8p.m. Monday March 15, through 10a.m. Tuesday, March 16.

Gusty Winds, blowing snow, and high waves will continue into late Sunday Morning

Expect snow throughout the day Sunday. We could see up to 5 inches in certain areas.

They say we may still see stronger wind as we get closer to Midnight tonight.

Three people had to be taken to the hospital.

We are about to get right back into winter and it's going to start with some freezing rain, a winter weather advisory, and some poor road conditions Wednesday morning.

The winter weather advisory is in effect from 1 AM Friday to 7 AM Saturday morning. Expect total snow accumulations of 3-5 inches and wind gusts up to 35 mph.
