Not only is it the Festival of the Arts in downtown Grand Rapids this weekend, but there are also a couple of concerts and plays, two different runs, a free dental clinic, a reptile & exotic pet show, and a chance to adopt a dog.

If you're planning on voting tomorrow but have to figure out where to leave the little ones while you do so, YMCA of Greater Grand Rapids can help you out! All of the YMCA's in the Grand Rapids areas will be opening up their KidZones to members and non-members so parents can vote...

For runners, this weekend is the mother-load of runs in Grand Rapids. Saturday, October 18, is the Run thru the Rapids, followed by Sunday's Grand Rapids Marathon.

Plans to build a new YMCA in Cascade Township, to replace the existing Grand Rapids Township Y, have officially been approved.

Thanks to everyone who came out for Channel 95-7's first annual Boo Bash at the David D. Hunting YMCA right in downtown Grand Rapids. The YMCA officially broke ground on their new facility in May of 2010.  Now the Spartan Stores YMCA at Metro Health Village is set to open on Monday.  There will be a public open house on Saturday.
