Two suspects wanted for stealing medicine made with codeine from two different stores over the weekend.

According to Fox 17, the first robbery happened Saturday at the CVS Pharmacy on W. Pearl Street in Coldwater around 1:30 p.m. Investigators said the two suspects hopped over the counter at the pharmacy and swiped the prescription medication.

When the suspects entered the store, they chatted with employees about medications then waited for employees to clear the area so they could make their move. Both suspects jumped over the counter, grabbed the medicine containing codeine then ran from the store to take off in an unknown vehicle.

Not long after the first robbery, a second occurred in Albion, where two men hopped the the counter at the Family Fare Pharmacy on Saturday just before 3:00 p.m. The men were able to grab four bottles of promethazine/codeine.

The two men were African American males around 5'10 and 6'1". Both were wearing all black clothes. The getaway vehicle was identified as a silver SUV or minivan.
