West Michigan went three for three Wednesday. Now all three face tough tests in their championship games.

Hudsonville, Newaygo and Kent City all won their semi-final matchup in the MHSAA Girls Basketball Tournament Wednesday.

Hudsonville defeated Midland Dow in Division 1, 49-37, to advance to Friday's 12:30pm Championship Game against Detroit Renaissance. All the title tilts will be played at the Breslin Center on the campus of Michigan State University.

In Division 2, Newaygo pulled away from Detroit Country Day, 55-39, and the Lions will face Portland Friday at 5:30pm.

And undefeated Kent City hit some key three pointers late to put away Calumet, 59-53 to earn a berth in the Division 3 title game against Grass Lake Friday at 3:00pm.

Grand Rapids has three boys teams in the semi-finals of their tournament playing today (Thursday).

Tri-Unity Christian tipped off this morning at 10:00am against Rudyard at Van Andel Arena, Catholic Central is facing off against Ferndale at Van Andel at 3:00pm.

Forest Hills Northern will take on Grand Blanc in a Division 1 semi-final at 5:30pm at the Breslin Center.
