The majority of Americans are stuck at home in quarantine and that means that you have a lot of time to sit at home and think. So, what are you realizing?

TEXT QUESTION OF THE DAY:
What has being quarantined made you realize?

  • I miss my family and friends .. all the summer events are canceling left and right .. this summer is going to suck .. However I’m blessed to have a job working from home and thankful for my son who has been helping through this rough patch (broke my leg in February) .. Remember this is only temporary..
  • Nothing. I'm an essential telecommunication employee. Love the light traffic Downtown. Although my husband is working from home and is not in the best place for me when I come home.
  • People aren't as tough/strong as they appear on the outside .People, aren't prepared for big disasters.
  • I’m still working so I’m not quarantined but..to never take anything for granted again. From the big things like my daughter still being in school and husband still working to the very small like getting a caramel Frappuccino from Starbucks and wandering target aimlessly.
  • We are still working which I’m entirely thankful for. That’s what I’ve realized.
  • Our house no longer suits our family- we need a second lounge area for kids & their crappy shows!
  • I’m still working one job (healthcare) but I miss my second job and hate being home all the time at night. I’ve realized I either need my second job or a life...‍♀️
  • That my life hasn't changed one bit ‍♀️
  • That it is possible to play too many games with your children.
  • Let me breathe kid
  • That I was perfectly fine to be a homeschooling mom. I have been intimidated until everyone else was forced to homeschool. Then I realized I can totally do this.
  • Focusing on all of my blessings and being grateful for my family. Enjoying time with our kids
  • I'm a healthcare worker so I'm still worker. Traffic is almost nonexistent which is wonderful though!
  • That I'm a lot more patient than I thought I was and that there are some folks out there, who REALLY like to complain.
  • After about 3 weeks of high anxiety I've learned how to relax and am enjoying being home.
  • That being an essential employee (Amazon) was a whole lot better than having COVID-19! :(
  • That as much as I complain about hugging people I actually miss the human contact!!!
  • I am not stay at home mom material
  • Nothing I'm still working. Traffic has been great tho!
  • I’m still working.... people still need their Amazon!
  • That our family was made for this...a bunch of homebodies.
  • That my cats sleep A LOT!
  • I'm still working but learned that even tho I love my family we have to have time apart being with each other 24-7 with three teenagers in the house somebody is always in a bad mood lol
  • I overload my non isolated schedule waaaaay toooo much!!!
  • We play lots of games and I’m a sore loser.
  • How much I love being with my husband! ❤️
  • I'll never get caught up on my to-do list!
  • How I really miss my co-workers.
  • Everybody copes with change and challenges differently.
  • How much stuff you can get done when working from work
  • My kids can blow through 900 snacks in one day
  • How many people are probably alcoholics
  • How selfish we humans truly are...
  • I eat way too much when I’m home
  • How much I enjoy Bill.
  • That people are a bunch of babies. Just. Stay. Home.
  • My family drives me nuts !
  • That quilted Northern Toilet paper is the best... man I miss that stuff. Other brands don’t compare.
  • That people are more important than money and how much the little things make a difference: text, call or video chat can make a huge difference in my day!
  • Being quarantined has made me realize I’m not as introverted as I think I am. I have a little group of people and I miss them all dearly.
  • TQOTD: I've realized I'm a spoiled brat lol. I never knew how much I took for granted- running to the store whenever I want, ORDERING next day or two day delivery, hugging a friend, just little things.
  • Connie and fish, what I have realized by being quarantined is that I am very grateful for going to college and picking a profession that is considered now and hopefully will always be considered essential. I am a nurse and I go to work every day thankful that I have a job to go to and that I really love what I do
  • Since being quarantined I’ve taken advantage of this and have your show playing every morning and it has help me tremendously to bring some normalcy back into my life and allow me to focus on healthy habits.
  • I love my daughter but I can Not stand another frogging week with her she’s always saying mom mom mom ands when I answer she smiles at me ....ohh did I mention she’s not even two yet
