I know what you're thinking, 'Why does this never happen where I am?'

And, 'In her defense, it IS green.'

A woman in Shawano, WI is in jail facing charges today after it was learned the cookies she handed out along a St. Patrick's Day parade route were infused with marijuana.

Cathleen Krause, 57, was seen handing out what witnesses referred to as 'suspicious' cookies. (Is there such a thing?)  When police approached the 'visibly intoxicated' Krause she showed the officers a bag full of crumbs. Those crumbs tested positive for marijuana.

No one reported any ill effects from having ingested the cookies. Krause faces charges of drug delivery and drug possession. She's been ordered to stay sober until her hearing.

Good luck with that!
