A report from Time explains why women get sick in the workplace and their male co-workers are partly to blame.

Researchers from the University of Indiana studied 440 women who worked at companies where more than 85% of the employees were men. Turns out they had much higher levels of cortisol compared to women who were employed at companies with a more equal ratio of men to women.

If you're not familiar with cortisol, it's a hormone our bodies produce to help us deal with stress. If you have too much, it can really mess with your immune system.

Things like sexual harassment and discrimination could be to blame for the added stress.
