Wyoming Police will be increasing patrols for the next few days around West Elementary after the school received a threat via phone message over the weekend.

A press release from the police on Monday described the threat as "non-specific in nature," and are still investigating where the threat originated from.

Wyoming police say they are investigating the viability, and level of the threat, and will keep the community informed as more details become available.

Police and school officials will be working together to make sure things at the school stay safe, this includes an increased police presence at the school.
