The weather isn't the only thing hot this summer.  The chili at the 2nd annual SteepleFest celebration on Grand Rapids' West Side will have your taste buds sweating.

Over 2,000 people attended SteepleFest last year.  This year's event takes place on Saturday, August 20.

SteepleFest runs from Noon-9:00pm on Stocking Avenue NW near Fifth Street.  There is live music, arts and crafts, a beer tent, a chili cook-off and more.  The chili cook-off is one of the main attractions.  Chili will be available to sample after 4:00pm.

Proceeds from SteepleFest go towards Steepletown Neighborhood Services.  Steepletown Neighborhood Services was founded in 1994.  They offer support services and educational programs for both children and adults.
