Muñoz & Company's "Port of Entry" uses 13,000 bottles of Jarritos to build a wall and make a statement at Calder Plaza during ArtPrize Seven.
Whispers Creating Noise at ArtPrize Seven [Video]
Emily Kennerk's "Whisper" at 250 Monroe is one of the loudest entries at ArtPrize Seven, but only if you whisper.
Yell into a microphone at Kennerk's entry and nothing happens. Whisper into the microphone and it will shake an 80-foot-long table causing the tableware to crash to the ground.

Volunteer Performers Needed to Swing at Kate Gilmore’s ‘Higher Ground’
It takes thousands of volunteer hours to make ArtPrize a success. Some volunteers work directly for ArtPrize, some for venues, others assist artists.
Kate Gilmore's "Higher Ground" has a very unique volunteer opportunity.
Gilmore needs women to wear white dresses and swing for one-hour shifts.
Jurors’ Shortlist Venues: Processing Fiber at 250 Monroe and Spiral [Photos]
The ArtPrize Seven Jurors' Shortlists were revealed on Monday. The five finalists for Outstanding Venue contained a few regulars. SiTE:LAB, UICA and Kendall College have all been finalists before.
The list also contained a couple of surprises with newcomers Processing Fiber at 250 Monroe and Spiral.

Take a walk along the Grand River at Sixth Street Bridge Park during ArtPrize and one entry is sure to grab your eye, Copy Culture's "Minimalist Division".
"Minimalist Division" is a large mirrored cube which allows visitors to walk inside.

ArtPrize Seven jurors narrowed down their favorites and gave voters more to think about as the jurors revealed their top five in each category at tonight's ArtPrize shortlist event.
Thousands Of Beads Taken
Jeffrey Augustine Songco’s ArtPrize installation “Revelry” at Calder Plaza is a 200 foot long chain link fence originally decorated with 2,700 pounds of Mardi Gras beads.
Only a fraction of those beads remain after most were taken by ArtPrize visitors on Saturday.

Psychologists Turn Symbolically Broken Plates Into Art at ArtPrize [Video]
A team of artists and psychologists are allowing people to symbolically breakthrough issues by physically breaking plates at DeVos Place during ArtPrize Seven.
The broken plates are then turned into the ashes of a mosaic which shows a phoenix rising.
The ArtPrize entry is titled "BREAKTHROUGH".
ArtPrize Artist Discusses Armenian Genocide of 1915 [Video]
ArtPrize artist Mher Khachatryan has displayed work in galleries in Armenia and the United States. His ArtPrize entry "Dedicated to the victims of 1915 Genocide" aims to raise awareness of the over 1.5 million Armenians who died.
