Monday night was a long night for the West Michigan Whitecaps, as the team played its longest game in franchise history.

The Detroit Tigers are sending at least six players to the 2013 All-Star Game.  That's the most since 1985. It's still possible they could add another player to the team, if they do, that would be the most Detroit Tigers on an All-Star team in franchise history.
