A family from Amarillo took their 10 year-old son Roman to last weekend's football game at AT&T stadium between the Cowboys and Lions. The tickets were a surprise from Roman's grandma because he is a huge Detroit Lions fan.

Grand Rapids Mayor George Heartwell announced the launch of a new website and contest during the Fourth of July Fireworks downtown last night. It's called 'My Grand Rapids in Six Words' or MyGR6.  And it is a community movement asking anyone and every one to describe Grand Rapids in just six words.
