Anticipation is mounting for the new Star Wars film "The Force Awakens" set to hit theaters this holiday season, and adding to the excitement was the release of Disney's new Star Wars Toys that hit stores this past Labor Day weekend.

Ludacris has been in four of the The Fast and the Furious movies, including Furious 7 out last week. However, Ludacris' role initially could have gone to Ja Rule, who had a cameo in the first movie in 2001, The Fast and the Furious.

The always controversial Michigan film incentive program is bringing a major movie to Michigan. The upcoming Batman and Superman movie will be filmed in Michigan.

ArtPrize begins September 18, but it's been a busy couple of weeks for the art competition. Venue registration closed, artist registration began, and a new executive director was named. Christian Gaines, the new executive director of ArtPrize, has a strong background working with films. Is his hiring an indication that film is about to become a much bigger part of ArtPrize?

When I came across this, I knew that I had to share it with anyone and everyone that I could.  It is a tale that I'm sure many people wish they could call their own. When some tourists lose a roll of film in a New York park after the blizzard earlier this year, they probably thought that they would never get it back.  But, that roll of film fell into the hands of a man who was looking for just suc
