School shooting

UPDATE (1:45pm): The electrical engineering building remains closed by police, other campus buildings are now open & the shelter in place order has been lifted. According to CNN, a shooting was reported to authorities in the Houston, TX area around 1:50pm. The shooting occurred at Lone Star College. Details are still coming in at this time, but here is what we know so far:

CNN.com is reporting that there has been a school shooting at an elementary school in Newtown, Connecticut. News outlets in the area are reporting that the elementary school in question is Sandy Hook Elementary School, and that all schools in the district are now on lockdown.
