According to Grand Rapids Business Journal, twenty $25 gift cards that are good at at Meijer, Barnes & Noble, and the MicroMarket food service vendor at MCC will be up for grabs at each of the five free COVID-19 vaccine clinics Aug. 19-Sept. 23.

The clinics will be held at MCC's Health and Wellness Center at 221 Quarterline Road in Muskegon, and the MCC Sturrus Technology Center, at 388 W. Clay Avenue.

Here are the dates, times, and locations for MCC's upcoming clinics:

  • Aug. 19: 11 a.m.-6 p.m., MCC Health and Wellness Center
  • Aug. 26: 11 a.m.-6 p.m., MCC Health and Wellness Center
  • Sept. 2: 3 p.m.-6:30 p.m., MCC Sturrus Technology Center
  • Sept. 9: 11 a.m.-6 p.m., MCC Health and Wellness Center
  • Sept. 23 – 3 p.m.-6:30 p.m., MCC Sturrus Technology Center

Anyone 12 and over who receives the COVID-19 vaccine at the clinics is eligible. According to GRBJ, clinic attendees will be asked to fill out entry form to participate in the drawings. Winners will then receive their $25 gift card in the mail.

MCC says that no appointments are necessary, though you will want to print and fill out the forms found on their website. Parents must accompany their children that are under 18-years-old.

First and second shots are available at each clinic. Participants will have the choice of either the Pfizer or Johnson and Johnson vaccine. For those who receive their first shot of the Pfizer vaccine, your second shot will be either already be scheduled at a second clinic, or you will be advised on how to schedule -- this will depend on which vaccine clinic you attend.
