Five teenage boys have been accused of sexually assaulting a fellow female student at South Haven High School.

Court documents show that the alleged assaults happened more than once and occurred between November 1st and December 6th. One time was on school property while the other times were away from school but within the South Haven area.

WOOD-TV says the school reported the alleged rape to the South Haven Police after learning about it last week.

The suspects are between the ages of 17 and 18 while the girl is between 13 and 15, which makes her underage. Apparently, she told police that she knew all of the boys in question, whom all turned themselves in on Monday after being issued warrants. They were all arraigned on charges of third-degree criminal sexual conduct involving a victim between the ages of 13 and 15, and released on bond.

The suspects will be back in court on March 8th.

There also may be a sixth suspect involved who does not attend the same school, and has the possibility of facing charges as well.
