The project redesigned its conference and hotel rooms, added a new lobby and introduced a full-service Biggby Coffee for students and the public. Patricia Urquiola, an award-winning designer and architect based in Milan, Italy was tasked with updating the space.

The hotel offers 48 guest rooms, including a new suite, and 14 conference rooms. The lobby features a spiral staircase connecting the first two floors of the building.

A statement from Hope College says the hotels intent is to

"foster interactions between Hope College staff and students, community members and Haworth guests."

Guest amenities include streaming options and premium TV channels, free Wi-Fi, a fitness center, complimentary newspapers and the Hope Spirit Shop, which carries Hope College, Haworth and Holland-themed apparel and memorabilia.

The hotel  will serve Biggby Coffee. Haworthhotel.com claims,

"Owned by our very own Hope College Alumni, Mark Dykema, Biggby Coffee is a welcomed addition to the Haworth Hotel. Enjoy your morning pick-me-up or afternoon indulgence right from the comfort of our hotel lobby."

Another big change happening in the ballroom event space is that beer & wine are now served.

The Haworth family and their namesake Holland-based furniture company have been involved in the Hope College property since it opened more than 20 years ago. Hope College helped with the renovation by adding art displayed on the conference room walls done by Hope College professors. Hope College’s AV team did a high-tech renovation of the hotel to guarantee every screen’s digital images are crisp and the cameras mounted atop screens can work for video chats and hybrid-style meetings.
