Full House fans may soon have reason to rejoice! Warner Bros. TV is considering bringing a new version of the show back to television, according to a report on TVGuide.com.

Actor John Stamos (Uncle Jesse) along with the show’s original creator and producer (Jeff Franklin and Bob Boyett) are behind the effort, the report indicated. Stamos has an ownership stake in the show and is reported to be championing the cause.

Co-stars like Bob Saget, who played Danny Tanner, Dave Coulier, who played Uncle Joey, Candace Cameron, who played D.J. Tanner, and Jodie Sweetin, who played Stephanie Tanner are also reportedly involved.

Reports thus far have failed to mention Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen who shared the roll of the youngest Tanner, Michelle. The twins used Full House to bolster their careers which lead to movies and eventually a clothing line.

In 2012 the cast reunited (sans the Olsen twins) to celebrate the show's 25th anniversary.
