Thursday, August 1, Silent Observer took to social media to inform the public that the reward for information leading to the arrest of his shooters has been raised to $9,200 (previously the reward was $3,200). All tips can be reported anonymously.
With the way that Silent Observer works, when you submit tips, they do not know your name or even where you are submitting the tip from. You are simply assigned a number. If your tip is handed over to law enforcement (again, anonymously), and the information provided helps solve the case, you can collect your reward. Even when collecting your reward, you do not have to provide your name - just the number you were provided by Silent Observer.
Anyone with information about the shooting death of Amilier Penn is asked to contact the Grand Rapids Police Department by calling (616) 456-3380. Tips can also be sent anonymously through Silent Observer's website, or by phone at (616) 774-2345.
