Apple Recalling Some of their MacBook Pro Laptops
You very well could be reading this on your laptop right now.
Apple announced that they have issued a voluntary recall of their 15-inch MacBook Pro's due to the battery overheating. The laptops were sold between September 2015 and February 2017 and have Retina display.
Overheating can pose a safety risk and if this affects you, you can get a replacement battery from Apple, free of charge.
No other 15-inch MacBook Pro's or notebooks are a part of the recall.
You can enter your computer's serial number here to find out if it is affected by the recall and therefore eligible for replacement. The replacement process is for the battery only.
