Avicii Wins Favorite EDM Artist at 2013 American Music Awards

Avicii nabbed his first American Music Award tonight (Nov. 24). Accepting the trophy for Favorite EDM Artist, the Swedish DJ kept his acceptance speech short, sweet and very simple.

Sprinting up to the stage, Avicii, born Tim Bergling, rocked a backwards baseball cap that matched his cool, casual attitude toward the win. "I just wanna say thank you to everyone who voted for me," Avicii gushed. "Thank you to my manager, my label, thank you so much!"
