Barry County Father Driving Construction Equipment Hits, Kills Infant

A 1-and-a-half-year-old was killed Wednesday afternoon in an accident involving construction equipment.

It happened in in Assyria Township, south of Nashville in Barry County.

Authorities told WZZM-13 that the toddler’s father was operating a skid steer, and backed over the child.

Michigan State Police troopers are at the scene to investigate the accident. Which is typical procedure in these types of cases.
