Have you ever found something strange hidden somewhere in your house?

Or maybe you happened to be doing a demo on a portion of your place and stumbled across some unexpected items.

That's what happened to a Muskegon resident when he was redoing his back steps.

Discovering the Brunswick Bowling Balls

David Olson posted on Facebook that he was in the middle of demoing the steps in his backyard last Thursday when found several Brunswick bowling balls underneath.

Olson updated his post several times throughout the day to keep people in the loop about how many balls were recovered and what he planned on doing with them.

He started out with fifty bowling balls in the morning and by the end of the night recovered 158. He added that it seemed like there were more underneath his patio but didn't want to remove those and possibly damage it.

What Will Become of the Bowling Balls

According to the Facebook post, he contacted Brunswick and they let him know that it was indeed safe for the bowling balls to be dumped into a landfill.

However, Olson plans on upcycling them and show them off.

Upcycling is where you take an old or unwanted product and transform it into something of greater value.

So, I'm not the most creative person on the planet but I think it would be pretty cool to turn some of these bowling balls into a lamp or a gazing ball for the garden.
