Can We Talk About Hastings, Michigan For A Minute?

I’m not sure what’s in the water in Hastings; I mean seriously, the people there are just a bit different. They’re the happiest bunch of people I’ve seen in awhile!

I did a live broadcast at the new Aldi store in Hastings a few months back and everyone I met while I was there was so happy and friendly.  Maybe it’s because they now have a new store to shop, but I think it’s something more.

Sure, I see a lot of happy people all over West Michigan; I’m not saying everyone else is angry. I’m just saying everyone I met last week while in Hastings, was very friendly, welcoming and happy. It reminded me of when you meet your best friend’s family and they welcome you in right away; that’s the feeling I got while in Hastings.

I’m not sure what’s in the water there, but we should think about bottling it.
