Recently at a restaurant in East Grand Rapids an incident occurred between two customers and the owner.

The dispute was over a suspected fake IDs that blew up on social media and got local law enforcement involved.

Fox 17 spoke with the two women, Jessica Peña and Ariana Dunavan about the incident.

Their side of the story is that Jessica ordered an alcoholic drink and Ariana took a sip from it.

They say the restaurant owner told them that wasn't allowed and Jessica was accused of using a fake ID.

Carolina Lowcountry Kitchen put out a response to the video.

The women filed a police report but after review it was determined that nothing criminal happened so the case was closed.

They told Peña that she could pursue the incident through civil court if she wanted to.
