Connie and Fish are partnering with the Kent County Department of Health and Human Services program to ensure that some local needy children experience the magic of Christmas!

Connie and Fish Christmas Kids is a Christmas toys, books, arts and crafts kits and personal care drive for children in foster care from newborns to high school age kids.

Due to Covid 19, the Kent County DHHS building is closed to the public, however, our staff have not stopped going to homes to ensure the safety and well-being of children in our community.  We continue to see many families who are struggling with parenting and the additional stress of the pandemic.

During this time, many children are not attending school, daycare, and doctor’s appointments in person, so the number of reports of suspected abuse and neglect have declined significantly.  We have had less children entering foster care during the past few months, but we anticipate the numbers to rise dramatically when children return to school in January.

The children who have been placed into foster care have experienced considerable trauma, so we appreciate your continued support as we spread cheer during the holidays and into the new year.

Now, let's get to how you can help these kids and families out!  It's super easy to shop for these kids in need...
