Once again, we decided to dive into the wet and wild world of Steve's clammy hands.  This morning, Steve was telling Connie and Curtis that ever since he joined the show and began talking about Steve's hands, his Fiancee, Brittainy, has been teasing him more than she used to.

That conversation led to a discussion about possible treatment options for Steve.  They have botox, surgery, and laser treatments for overly sweaty hands, but Steve really doesn't want to do a big procedure.

So, like a good intern should, Connor found a list of easy treatments for the problem.  Steve knows that he isn't the only one with his "condition", so he is going to pass along Connor's suggestions...

  1. Wash Your Hands - Washing your hands can quickly remove the sweatiness and for a time reduce the amount of any additional sweat to the hand area.
  2. Use Alcohol-Based Hand Sanitizer - Using hand sanitizer with alcohol can also reduce the amount of sweat on your hands for a time.
  3. Carry A Cloth - Carry around something to wipe your hands with so you don't have to get your pants and shirt all wet.
  4. Cool Off Your Hands - Steve will do this while driving by putting a hand out the window until it dries.
  5. Use Powder - Sprinkling baby powder in your hand can dry things up.  Steve says it just turns into pancake batter when he tries this remedy though...  GROSS!
  6. Don't Wear Mittens - Duh!  Especially during the summer.
  7. Use Antiperspirant - A simple swipe of your antiperspirant on your hands can reduce sweating.
  8. Stay Relaxed - Easier said than done!  It's a self-fulfilling prophecy!  You are nervous because your hands are sweaty, your hands sweat because you are nervous.

Steve says he will try a few of these remedies and report back with his results!  If you have any non-surgical solutions, let us know in the comments!
