The Detroit Lions started the 2024 NFL season with a hard-fought victory last night over former QB Matthew Stafford and the LA Rams. With high hopes for the Lions- some are even calling this the year of the “brand new Lions.”

In a fitting tribute to the Motor City’s pride, Ford has unveiled a limited edition Detroit Lions F-150 Hybrid. This exclusive vehicle, designed to represent the strength and resilience of the Lions, is as rare as it is powerful. Only 800 units have been produced, making it a true collector’s item for both football and truck enthusiasts.

It's obvious you have this limited edition truck when you see this giant Lion's logo on the hood from the outside, but the best part about this edition of the F-150 is the details like the Lion embroidered into the head rests.

They also added a badge to the truck so people know exactly which one of the 800 trucks is yours:

“It’s fabulous. It’s the perfect combination of power and efficiency because it is, in fact, a hybrid unit,” said Mark Douglas, Chairman of the Metro Detroit Ford Dealer Association. The vehicle features shades of Honolulu Blue and silver, echoing the Lions’ iconic colors and symbolizing the strong partnership between Ford and the Detroit Lions over the past few years.

These limited edition F-150 Hybrids hit dealership lots in Southeast Michigan today, but finding one won’t be easy. With only 800 available, they’re expected to sell out quickly. And with the Lions poised for a strong season—possibly even a Super Bowl run—this unique vehicle could become even more valuable.
