How You Can Watch Detroit Pistons Games Completely Free This Season
I remember as a kid watching all of the big sports teams in Michigan on TV with my dad.

Tigers, Red Wings, Lions and Pistons as well as college sports games were always a focal point or on the TV in the background of whatever else we were doing.
But as the years have gone on it's become harder and harder to find your favorite teams on TV unless you have several paid subscriptions.
Soon one of Michigan's biggest sports teams will be available to watch on your TV for free.
Where To Watch Detroit Pistons For Free
The Detroit Pistons shared the exciting news that a new local media television rights agreement with Scripps Sports will begin with the 2026‑27 NBA season.
This deal will give Detroit Pistons fans the chance to watch free over-the-air television access throughout the state, including right here in West Michigan.
This hasn't been an option for Detroit Pistons fans since 2005.

Who Airs Detroit Pistons Games In Grand Rapids
Pistons fans in West Michigan will be able to watch the games on Fox 17.
Channel 17.2 "The Spot" will serve as the official TV home of the Pistons in Grand Rapids.
The Spot will air all locally available pre-season and regular season games.
The Pistons and Scripps Sports will have game day coverage, which will include pregame, in-game and postgame programming.
The new deal also includes a 30-minute, weekly Pistons show.
I love that this is happening and I wish other big sports teams would do the same but I don't see that happening.
