Did We Make the List of 25 Sexiest U.S. Cities?

Pure Romance has released their list of the 25 Sexiest U.S. Cities. How did we do in Michigan? You might be surprised!

Pure Romance, a global direct seller of “relationship-enhancing” products recently compiled a list of the 25 Sexiest U.S. Cities based on online product sales and net regional sales. Pure Romance said in 2020, sales of sex toys were up 49.7 percent from 2019. The company sold 933,000 sex toys sold last year, netting $72 million dollars in retail sales for the company.

Four Michigan cities made their list. Surprisingly, coming in at the very top of the list was Detroit! According to Chris Cicchinelli, Pure Romance CEO and president, that “reflects that during the past year, we have been spending more time at home and many of us have taken advantage of that time to rekindle relationships.”

Three other Michigan cities made the list, but they were grouped together. Those cities are Grand Rapids, Kalamazoo, and Battle Creek. Those cities were combined to fall into the 14th spot on the Top 25 list.

What I find most interesting is that most of the cities in the list are located in the northern part of the United States. Tampa-St. Petersburg, FL; Dallas-Fort Worth, TX; Atlanta, GA; Houston, TX; and Orlando-Daytona-Melbourne, FL are the only southern cities to make the list.

Perhaps we really aren't the sexiest cities here in the north, but rather we are all just cuddling up to keep warm!
