Did You Know That Dancing With The Stars Has These Michigan Connections?
With the show's season 31 in full swing, the "Dancing with the Stars": Live! tour is making its way to Grand Rapids next year.
If you are a fan of the star-studded reality show, you will be happy to hear that the tour is coming early next year on January 30th at the DeVos Performance Hall.
You can expect to see your favorite "Dancing With The Stars" pros like Brandon Armstrong, Alan Bersten, Sasha Farber, Gleb Savchenko, Emma Slater, Britt Stewart, and Alexis Warr.
Excited to see your favorites live in action, you can start grabbing general admission and VIP packages this Friday, October 7th at 10:00 AM.
If you are not a fan of the tour coming soon, maybe you are simply a fan of the show itself. You may love to know that there is a Michigan native on the show right now.
Best known for her roles in "Legally Blonde," "Cruel Intentions," and "The People vs. OJ Simpson: American Crime Story," Selma Blair is one of the competitors that are on season 31.
Born and raised in the Southfield/Farmington Hills/Bloomfield Hills areas, she is showing all of her Michigan prowess in this competition. This is also monumental for her because, in 2018, she announced that was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis.

Even though her son is worried about her falling and hurting herself, while on Good Morning America, Selma shared that she is confident that he will "be proud [of] how much happiness I can find in this."
Before Selma graced the DWTS stage, there was another Michigander that shook the show up. Elizabeth Berkley Lauren, who was a part of Season 17, is from the same area as Selma.
Perhaps they know each other. You may know Elizabeth from the iconic show "Saved By The Bell."

With her partner, the beloved Valentin Chmerkovskiy, Elizabeth placed 6th overall in the show.
