Did You Learn How To Square Dance In Middle School? [Poll]

I thought that everyone in the state of Michigan learned how to square dance in gym class at some point in their school career. But, after talking to a few people around the office, I'm now wondering how many schools actually taught it.

When I was going to school in the Metro Detroit area, our middle school set aside a few weeks during gym class to teach the students how to square dance. I remember that almost all of the students hated it and even my gym teacher thought that it was unnecessary or just outright dumb.

Well, as it turns out, not every Michigander learned how to square dance or line dance in school and that is completely blowing my mind. I was told that everyone had to learn it.
