Usually when you hear someone say they want to take you to "pound town", you're probably feeling either threatened or flattered. However, a Michigan business has taken its own spin on the term, and now it's inviting its customers to join it in PoundTown.

Dip Net Bait and Tackle in Detroit now proudly has large printed tickets for PoundTown in their windows that have been catching the attention of their nearby neighbors. But, they say if you think it's something negative- you should get your mind our of the gutter.

In a hilarious post made by Fox 2 reporter, Jessica Dupnack she shares the story of how the owners of Dip Net Bait and Tackle see the phrase a little differently than the rest of us. Instead of pound town either meaning fighting or well, that other F word...

The owners say they take Pound Town to mean pounding those poles, and getting those fish. (Kind of like the phrase "pounding the pavement") and not the thing they know we all believe ti means.
