A popular Mexican restaurant in Grand Rapids is back open for tasty takeout after having to close.

After an employee tested positive for coronavirus, Donkey Taqueria made the decision to temporarily close as a precaution. They hoped to be open in time for Cinco De Mayo but better late than never, right?

They shared the great news on their Facebook page.

Since being closed, the restaurant had the place "electrostatically disinfected" and plan on continuing to do that in the future. They also reported that the infected employee has been recovering.

I for one am super excited because I've been craving some tacos from Donkey for weeks now! Bu more than anything else, I can't wait for the day to be able to finally sit outside on their patio drinking a spicy margarita with friends.
