Parts of Michigan Have Already Seen Snow This Year
It's not even technically fall, but at least one part of Michigan has already seen snow this season.

Flethcy's Otter Belly Lodge, a resort in Mohawk, Michigan, posted a video on September 4 showing what appears to be the first snow of the season in the Upper Peninsula (and Michigan, in general.)
It's definitely early in the season, but most people in the state of Michigan have experienced the effects of the cold front that moved into the region on Thursday.

Temperatures across the area dropped from the 80s to mid-90s into the 40s pretty quickly. But none of us experienced more of an extreme change than those in the Keweenaw Peninsula, where the town of Mohawk actually saw snow.
It didn't accumulate, but that doesn't change the fact that it happened. Is this an indicator of what's to come in the fall and moving forward towards winter?
The short answer is, we don't really know about winter - yet. But, we do know that at least the Farmer's Almanac says that we will have a cooler than normal fall across most, if not all, of Michigan.
