Earth Day Called for a Global Selfie

NASA purposed a "global selfie" on Earth Day this year.

On Earth Day this year, NASA asked YOU to send in your selfies for a project to raise environment friendly awareness. These millions of photos were pulled together to create the "Global Selfie", a photo of our planet's view from space made out of our selfies. People sent in selfies from every continent, and there is actually a feature where you can see each one of the 36,000 photos individually. You can mess around with the image here.
