Tragedy at Electric Forest: Missing Illinois Man Found by Police
A man who went missing Monday morning from Electric Forest Festival in Rothbury was found dead by police near the festival grounds.

According to reports the 28-year-old man from Illinois attended the music festival over the weekend with some friends.
On Monday morning the man called 911 to report that a crime had occurred.
After Michigan State Police (MSP) arrived and checked out the situation with the man, they determined that no crime was committed and left.
Later that morning around 10am the man's friend reported him missing and MSP came back and started searching for him.
They were able to ping his cell phone and headed in that direction.
During the search they were able to find his rental car with the keys still in it.
The MSP called in their search canines to try and locate the missing man.
Unfortunately the dogs found the man deceased in the nearby woods from an apparent suicide.
My thoughts are with this man's family and his friends who must be going through absolute hell right now.
People can speculate all day on what led to this tragic death, was he tripping on some kind of drug that caused him to leave and hurt himself?
Was he already depressed and had planned to take his own life?
