The Grand Rapids Amateur Astronomical Association brings us their 3rd annual West Michigan Spring Moon Gaze on Friday and Saturday from 8:30 to 10:00pm.

Amateur astronomers will be setting up their telescopes for anyone to see the night sky including the rings of Saturn and craters on the Moon.  The event is free of charge and will only be held if skies are clear

Telescopes will be set up at 10 locations around Grand Rapids including some Celebration Cinemas and D&Ws.  Here's a complete list of locations.

The Moon Gaze provides a great way to introduce your kids to astronomy over spring break and it's free!  Get the kids in their pjs and get out Friday or Saturday night!
