It's that time of year again. The corn stalks have reached their peak in their growing season, the temperatures are cooling off. Fall is in the air. That means it's time to head to some local corn mazes to get lost amongst the corn!

These corn mazes are more than just paths cut into the corn fields. Most of these mazes feature very intricate designs that pay tribute to different groups and events.

Here is a list of a some of the corn mazes in the Grand Rapids area you can check out this fall...

In alphabetical order...

Crane Orchards -- 6054 124th Avenue, Fennville, MI 49408
This year's corn maze is a salute to Healthcare Workers. They have a 20-acre Corn Maze. Compared to their corn maze designs of previous years, this one will have many new and different challenges. Hours are 10 am-6 pm daily.

Deep Roots Produce -- 8570 84th Street, SE, Caledonia, MI 49302
This is their first corn maze and it's a big one! The maze covers 12 acres and has three trails. The design honors their two dogs. Hours are Friday-Sunday 11 am-6:30 pm.

Ed Dunneback and Girls Fruit Farm -- 3025 6 Mile Road, Grand Rapids, MI 49544
The theme for this year's corn maze is "Grandpa, Tell Me About the Good Ol' Days". Hours are Friday 12 Noon-5 pm⁠, Saturday 9 am-5 pm, and Sunday ⁠11 am-5 pm⁠.

Fruit Ridge Hayrides -- 11966 Fruit Ridge Avenue, Kent City, MI 49330
Get lost in the Michigan Swamp Adventure Corn Maze at Fruit Ridge Hayrides. Acres and acres of corn maze cornfusion await! Hours are Friday 5 pm -9 pm, Saturday 10 am-9 pm, and Sunday 10 am-6 pm.

Heidi's Farmstand and Bakery -- 1999 Cascade Road, SE, Lowell, MI 49331
Heidi’s Corn Maze is 10 acres and contains two mazes for different challenge levels. The theme for 2020 is “Bee A-maze-d“. The Junior Maze is a beehive and is designed for children to complete in 15-20 minutes. The Large Maze features two bees and a large honeycomb pattern. It takes 45 minutes to walk thru and up to 1.5 hours to complete the accompanying (optional) game. Hours are 10 am to 5 pm daily, with hours extended to 9 pm on Friday & Saturday evenings.

Olin Farm -- 10911 Vergennes Street, Lowell, MI 49331
Take a walk through the winding paths of our corn maze this weekend! Their horse themed maze has a fun challenge -- find the mailbox and grab a ticket from inside, then bring it back to the cabin for a treat. If you don’t find the mailbox you haven’t made it through the whole maze. Look for the scarecrow for a clue! Hours are Friday 2 pm-7 pm, Saturday, 10 am-7 pm, and Sunday, 12 Noon-7 pm.

Robinette's Apple Haus and Winery -- 3142 4 Mile Road, Grand Rapids, MI 49525
This year’s maze honors Jim and Bethel Robinette, who played key roles in the success and growth of what is now known as Robinette’s Apple Haus & Winery. They both passed away this year. The design includes the 1929 Model A with the “big apple” in the truck bed. The Model A has been in many parades over the years. Hours are Monday-Saturday10 am-6 pm, and Sunday 12 Noon-6 pm.

Schwallier's Country Basket -- 1185 9 Mile Road, Sparta, MI 49345
Their corn maze has a Wild West theme this year. To get through the maze, you’ll have to answer questions by finding clues in the corn. Hours are Friday afternoons and Weekends 9 am-6 pm.

And don't forget to grab some cider and donuts are the orchards when you visit.
