The process of counting absentee ballots in the city of Grand Rapids was featured on John Oliver's 'Last Week Tonight' as a warning that this year's election will be different.

The City of Grand Rapids has issued 35,000 absentee ballots for the 2020 election, which means just the process of counting those will take a long, long time.

A WOOD-TV 8 story on that process got Oliver's attention as he did an entire show on how the 2020 election is gonna be much different than past elections due to people trying to avoid getting infected by the coronavirus at the polls.

WARNING: It's HBO, so John swears. A @%#^$& lot.
