Grand Haven Coast Guard Festival Kicks Off
It wouldn't be summer in West Michigan without visiting the beach at Lake Michigan. Why not visit now during the Grand Haven Coast Guard Festival? The festival has begun and runs through August 7.
If you have kids, don't miss "Kids Day" on Tuesday, August 7, from 10:00am - 2:00pm. You'll find games, storytelling, face painting, and a Prince and Princess contest. Over 3,000 are expected to attend.
There are also carnival rides, ship tours, and both a parade and fireworks on Saturday, August 6. The parade is at 11:45am and the fireworks are at dusk.
