Get Your Golden Tickets: Grand Rapids Gold Announce Theme Nights and Discounted Tickets

The Grand Rapids Gold announced earlier this year they would be moving their 2022-2023 season to Van Andel Arena. The Gold, who are a G League affiliate for the Denver Nuggets, lost their home at The Deltaplex when the complex announced its closure on July 31st.

I'm one of the many people excited to see the Gold play in a venue worthy of their talent, and I can't wait to attend a game once their season begins at home on November 10th.

And while some fans aren't super excited about the slight price increase that comes with their new home court, there are tons of discounted and theme nights to make your ticket worth the price.

What days can I get discounted tickets to see the Grand Rapids Gold?

There will be three specific days that will have deals for those looking to strike some Grand Rapids Gold...

Tuesday games will be buy one, get one on tickets. While games on Thursday won't have discounted tickets, they will have $2 beer and hot dogs. And on Sundays, you can take the family or grab a group of friends because four packs of tickets will run for $50, and include a $20 food voucher.

What are the theme nights for the Grand Rapids Gold 2022-2023 season?

The Grand Rapids Gold have 11 theme nights this season, some of which will support charity

November:
10 - Opening Night, against the Detroit Pistons’ G League affiliate, the Motor City Cruise.
13 - Military Appreciation Night

December:
13 - Ugly Sweater Night

January:
8 - Star Wars Night
20 - Nuggets Night

February:
9 - Flint Tropics Night
24 - Throwback Thursday
26 - Marvel Night

March:
2 - Rivalry Night
12 - Gentex Night
14 - Fan Appreciation Night

The Gold also plan to have an open fan appreciation night on Nov 1st, which is free and open to the public.
