The yearly Grand Crossings Bridge Walk is set for Monday morning in downtown Grand Rapids.

The walk will start at 8 a.m. at Ah-Nab-Awen Park at the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Museum and will be led by Grand Rapids Mayor George Heartwell.

The nearly five-mile walk through downtown Grand Rapids will cross Bridge Street, Sixth Street, Pearl Street, Wealthy Street and the Gillett and Blue bridges.

The route is wheelchair accessible and appropriate for all fitness levels.

You can park for free in city lots near Big Boy (at the corner of Pearl and U.S. 131) and in the Scribner lot (underneath U.S. 131 across from the Ford Museum). You may also park in the DeVos Place parking ramp (for a fee) and walk across the Gillett Bridge to the starting point.
